The cable simulator can be used for broadband distribution of RF signals and returnpath signals in CATV systems in the frequency range 5 – 1006 MHz. In situations where there is little loss due to coaxial cable, the unit can be used to introduce a fixed cable equivalent loss of 6 dB at 1006 MHz.
