The DMN1218 DOCSIS 3.1 RPD Digital Mini Node offers 10G bandwidth to DOCSIS, (XGS)PON and local generated DVBC applications. Using the smallest form factor available on the market at the highest possible performance and we are proud to share we have the lowest power consumption needed to achieve this compared to existing vendors in the EU market.

Hirschmann Provider Products, a leading vendor of HFC and FTTx network components, is proud to announce the introduction of its latest innovation, the Digital Mini Node. This revolutionary product is designed to support DOCSIS 3.0, DOCSIS 3.1, and DOCSIS 3.1+, allowing cable networks to facilitate the growth of 10Gb plus network capacity and reliability, while satisfying the growing bandwidth and Quality of Experience needs of their subscribers.
The Digital Mini Node is the industry’s smallest and most energy-efficient product of its kind, with cutting-edge RF technology built around the latest generation of GaN PA’s, providing unparalleled efficiency and reliability. As the first in the industry, the device is also equipped with full GaN technology in its power supply, guaranteeing the best-in-class efficiency and reliability.
The offered Remote Phy Devices (RPD’s) are remotely segmentable, which allows them to double the upstream capacity for the cable modems, enabling cable networks to provide a high service to their subscribers. Furthermore, the Digital Mini Node can be equipped with a Micro OLT, supporting both fiber and coax networks in parallel, creating hybrid networks thus providing even more flexibility and options for cable networks migrating to FTTx networks.
Two versions are available: mains powered and remote powered. The Digital Mini Node’s digital heart is built around the proven Broadcom chipsets and Harmonic’s DOCSIS technology, ensuring that it is capable of providing the highest level of performance and reliability to the users. The Digital Mini Node is fully operated and aligned by the Virtual-CMTS provisioning and management system creating end to end management, alignment and monitoring of the Mini Node as part the ecosystem.
