As a natural step in bringing high bandwidth closer to the customer all kinds of deep fiber solutions are applicable. Beside bringing the “analogue” HFC node deep in the network with our 1218 series node. It’s is more than logical to bring “DOCSIS” closer to the edge of the network. Depending on the desired performance and feature set we offer both RMD (Remote MACPHY Device) and RPD (Remote PHY Device) in our digital node series. As part of a 3rd party Eco system both product ranges are applicable and compatible with the concerned standards, creating Digital Access Docsis 3.0 and Doscis 3.1 RPD and RMD networks. Depending on the requirements this might including local generated DVB-C to offer a full Docsis and DVB service to the last mile. The unique RPD has a small form factor reducing the space needed at installation, as well as a unique and low power consumption being the smallest RPD with the lowest energy consumption available in the market.
