This in turn allows providers to use the platform to build new networks or upgrade or convert existing networks into nodes. It represents a solid technical future-proof and financial investment. The 1218 series includes an amplifier range in both remote powered 65 V AC amplifiers and 230 Volt mains powered amplifiers. To enable optical fiber termination in the access network, the BN1218 can be instal­led in a traditional manner for trunk andt ree and branch amplifier networks, as well as deep fiber solutions and fiber to the home solutions. The 1218 series settings be activated and controlled via a Bluetooth Dongle with a specially designed Hirschmann Provider Products Smartphone App.
